PsychPlace, located in Scarborough, is a space that is safe, sunny and that feels like home.
We understand that seeking treatment can be a daunting prospect for many so we've focused on making the rooms feel like home - not at all a sterile or standard clincal environment.
We even bring our dogs, Max and April, to the clinic and allow them to interact with our clients (please let us know if you're not a dog person). Many of our clients comment that the dogs make them feel happier and more relaxed.
Our team includes a Psychiatrist, Clinical Psychologists and Neuropsychologists, whom are very experienced and highly qualified. With more than 25 years experience in their respective fields, Majorie and Oleh are well practised at making clients feel welcome, safe and able to share their thoughts and feelings.
We have a genuine desire to get to know you and help you with your issue and we offer a wide range of services for adults, including assessments, clinical psychology and psychiatric treatment for a variety of problems including anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, and many others. We have a particular interest in, and postgraduate training in, working with people who have a brain injury or have experienced trauma in adulthood or as a child.
We use evidence based and effective treatment, and adhere to ethical and best practice guidelines (Australian Psychological Society Code of Ethics and The Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists Code of Ethics).
