PsychPlace, located in Scarborough, is a space that is safe, sunny, relaxed and feels like home.
We understand that seeking treatment can be a daunting prospect so we've focused on making our rooms feel like home - not at all a sterile or standard clincal environment.
We even bring our dogs, Max and April, to the clinic and allow them to interact with our clients (please let us know if you're not a dog person). Many of our patients and clients comment that the dogs make them feel happier and more relaxed.
Our team includes a Psychiatrist, Clinical Psychologists and Neuropsychologists, who are very experienced and highly qualified. With more than 25 years experience in their respective fields. Majorie and Oleh are well practised at making people feel welcome, safe and able to share their thoughts and feelings.
We have a genuine desire to get to know you and help you. We offer a wide range of services for adults, including assessments, clinical psychology and psychiatric treatment for a variety of problems including anxiety, depression, PTSD, ADHD, relationship difficulties and many others. We have a particular interest in, and postgraduate training in, working with people who have a brain injury or have experienced trauma in adulthood or as a child. Oleh works with many first responders.
We use evidence based and effective treatments, and adhere to ethical and best practice guidelines (Psychology's Code of Conduct and The Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists Code of Ethics).
We'd welcome the opportunity to meet you and assist you in your mental health journey.
